Recess

When temperatures are warmer than 0 degrees, pre-K and K students will have ourtoor recess with appropriate winter gear.

When temperatures are warmer than -20 degrees, older students can have outdoor recess if they have appropriate winter gear.

Indoor recess is available during colder temperatures.

    Lunches

Parents are responsible to provide food for their children, and to inform the office if their child has any food sensitivities (Nuts, milk, gluten, etc.).

    Microwaves are available.

We do not provide a “hot lunch”. Alternatively, we order pizza ($2.25/slice) twice a week, and offer a choice of hot dogs or nachos ($1.50 each) on a third day. Chips and snacks are also available.

If you are interested in children’s nutrition and/or coordinating a more nutritious option, please contact us for getting involved.

“My 3 kids love their teachers. The staff and faculty at Far North love the students and love to teach and it truly shows through. My kids can’t wait to go back to school in the Fall.”
