Philosophy

Modesty, neatness and cleanliness are emphasized at FNCS.

The use of uniforms has several significant benefits.

  • They promote the mind-set that school is a special place with special expectations and develop school pride.
  • Uniforms Project a positive image to the community and eliminate the pressure of “Dress competition.”
  • They present considerable financial savings after the initial purchases.

Two uniform polo shirts are provided as part of the enrollment fee. More uniform polo shirts may be purchased by the parent from FNCS’s Land’s End Website. Our school code is 900107251.

Uniform Guidelines

All Students must arrive and leave school in uniform.

All Students

  • Shirts – Red, White or Cobalt Land’s End polo with school logo.
  • Hats – No hats are to be worn in class. Hats may be worn for outdoor activities.
  • Shoes – Dress-style shoes, loafer or lace-up, in tan, brown, or black with a closed toe and heel. Clean athletic shoes may be worn subject to the discretion of the principal.
  • Jacket/Vest/Sweater – Black, Navy, or Heather Grey with school logo or no large logos.
  • Jewelry – No jewelry is to be worn, with exception of necklaces and bracelets worn for medical notification purposes. Students may wear a basic Chastity ring. Flesh toned and basic pink studs may be worn to protect existing piercings.
  • Makeup – No excessive use of makeup or colored nail polish is permitted. Blemish cover, and/or clear/light flesh toned nail polish is allowed

Girls

  • No Pants – Girls are not permitted to wear pants to or from school or to school functions.
  • Skirts/Skorts and Jumpers – Pre-K – 4th may wear Khaki or classic navy-blue jumpers with leggings or tights, or may wear Khaki, Navy, or Black skirts or skorts. 5th – 12th grade young ladies are required to wear Khaki, Navy or Black Skirts or Skorts. Skirts should come to the knee when standing or sitting.
  • Hair – Hair is to be kept clean and combed. No unnatural coloring, head shaving, or extreme styles are to be worn at FNCS. Students who enroll having an extreme haircut/coloring/style are asked to allow it to grow out.
  • P.E. dress requirements – 
    1. Athletic shoes,
    2. Land’s End P.E. T-shirts as listed under our school code 900107251 on Land’s End website or any plain t-shirt no graphics or large writing
    3. Below the knee athletic skirt/skort, with shorts or leggings as an underlayer.
  • Cold Weather – Snow pants may be worn for outdoor school activities in cold weather.

Boys

  • Pants – Dress style (not cargo) khaki, navy, or black pants. Shorts are not permitted.
  • Belts – (5th grade and up) must be worn, except for P.E.
  • Hair – trimmed off the ears, eyebrows, and collar. Any facial hair is to be kept shaved and sideburns no lower than the ear.
  • P.E. Clothes –

    2. Land’s End P.E. T-shirts as listed under our school code 900107251 on Land’s End website or any plain t-shirt with no graphics or large writing,
    3. Sweatpants or jeans may be worn for P.E. class.
